Mat Elliott is a Halifax, NS based artist blending indie soul, fusion, and sharp songwriting into something distinctly his own. With clean guitars, tight arrangements, and pointed lyrics, he sounds like the musical lovechild of Tom Misch, Michael McDonald, and Still Woozy if they were in a power thruple. A two-time ECMA and two-time Music Nova Scotia Award nominee, Mat has quietly built a name for himself as one of the Canadian East Coast’s most thoughtful and rhythmically satisfying, new voices.
